Uluwatu Beach

Uluwatu Beach is located on the Bukit peninsula in Bali, Indonesia and is considered to be one of Bali’s best surfing spots. To get to this beach you have to walk down a few hills with jagged pathways; not to mention the steep steps you have to go down, which fit about one person at a time. The view from the beach is amazing as well as from the cliffs, in which many warungs (restaurants) are perched, where you can grab a meal (I highly suggest the tempe burger!) and enjoy the scenery.

Dragon Statue

I love these dragon statues. I saw this one by a temple while I was walking along a path near Kuta Beach. You’ll also see many Bali dogs running around, a giant plastic (or glass?) turtle, and many tourists and locals lounging on the beach enjoying a Bintang and strumming their acoustic guitars. How can you not love Bali??
